  • Plastics colouring – Adding value to colours

We offer our clients great flexibility with colouring plastics.

Our colouring team will assist in choosing a colour and making specifications; we can use your raw materials or we can supply. All you need to do is ask about colouring. Regardless of the method of determinig colour, we still deliver a high quality product.

At Controlled Polymers A/S, we help you to choose the right colour and other agreed-upon features every time, and we will provide colour measurement certificates or approval plaques for documentation if you so request.

    Cold Pounding™

Controlled Polymers A/S has patented a highly specialized cold-pounding process to provide our customer base with a plastic material where original properties are maintained to a high degree and does not incorporate contaminants, such as black particles - which is a risk in traditional compounding.

In addition to using raw material compounds for colouring, we have the capability to use liquid colours, pigments, standard or customized masterbatch. And we can help you to decide which would be best to use, as well.

Controlled Polymers A/S can offer solutions from PE to PEEK, and we currently supply customer-specific solutions from 25 kg to 25 ton per production.

Masterbatch – Adding value to our customers

We initiate and welcome client collaboration so that our customers can define their product specifications and masterbatch needs.
We review the task requirements carefully, taking into account existing or future legislation, food and beverage sanitations requirements, environmental issues, children‘s toys, among others.
At Controlled Polymers A/S we ensure and observe all directives and regulations while meeting customer‘s specifications.
We can create a variety of products for virtually any use because we can offer so much versatility. For example, we can work with colours, additives, UV stabilizers, lazer marking materials, electrical or antistatic additives. We can even incorporate isotopes to make tracking possible. Our goal is to be able to experiment and develop new products and applications for our clients‘ every desire.
Today Controlled Polymers A/S have a broad experience in manufacturing customized colour masterbatch for PE, PP, PUR, POM, PS, ABS, PA, PET, PBT, PVC, TPE, TPU, TPV, blends etc. Controlled Polymers A/S provide solutions from 25 kg.

Modifying of plastics – Adding value to plastics

Controlled Polymers A/S can provide a variety of modification tasks in other areas besides colouring, and we always start with documenting your needs/ desired requirenents.
Then we can modify the plastic via additives or fillers, changing and improving its properties to suit your needs.

Development – Adding value through knowledge

Through dialogue and development, Controlled Polymers A/S advises our customers about the choice between a masterbatch solution and a compounding solution.

Together with our customers we clarify product expectations, and we enjoy new developmemt challenges.

Our R&D department is constantly developing and exploring new potential materials and processes, which enable us to be a frontline supplier for selective plastics manufacturers. Our vast knowledge of trends and upcoming legislation boosts new product development, for example phtalate-free PVC products, fluorescent pigments used in the food industry, biodedgradable polymers used in tge medical industry.

Our clients can rely on our confidentiality and integrity as a crucial foundation in our product development relationship.

    Lasermarking

Laser light is monochromatic light with high energy that can mark many materials such as plastic, ceramics and others.

Dependent on wavelength and the formulation of the plastic, the chemical reaction is foaming, carbonation, etching, engraving or photochemical reactions giving colour shift.

Controlled Polymers A/S has developed methods that allow laser marking on a wide range of plastics in different industrial sectors up to the medical industry with excellent results:

ABS, ABS/ PC, PA, PC, POM, PE, TPE or PP

    Further experience

Controlled Polymers A/S has a deep knowledge in the production of transparent colours, e.g. for the Medical industry.

Currently Controlled Polymers A/S is working on a new process for wood-plastic-composites (WPC).

The philosophy of Controlled Polymers A/S is to create economic solutions, improvements in production processes, support R&D, produce even smaller quantities, work on high-levelled plastics and create products for special applications, e.g. for the hearing-aid or medical industry, among others.
